The Urban Alert team paid a familiarization visit to Justice Development and Peace Makers Centre – JDPMC, Osogbo in order to foster a strong relationship with the non-governmental organization.
Explaining the aim of Urban Alert, Tosin Olarewaju expressed that Urban Alert as a non-profit initiative is deploying technology to track social vices, environmental degradation, and public facility degradation. She further seeks the partnership of Justice Development and Peace Makers Centre – JDPMC in the fight against social vices and environmental degradation.
Welcoming the Urban Alert team, the Director of Justice Development and Peace Makers Centre, Revd. Fr. Peter Akinkunmi thank the team for the courtesy visit. He further encouraged Urban Alert to work assiduously towards making the environment livable for the masses. In his words, “We need to take care of our environment and make it habitable for generations to come, it is therefore important for us to preserve and defend it”.
The Director further assured the Center’s readiness to partner in thematic areas that are in tandem with Urban Alert’s mission.
